I was born in Hollywood, Florida, in February 1965 and relocated to Arizona with my family.
My journey into Electrolysis began at the age of 12 when I started receiving treatment for my own unwanted dark hair. I vividly recall lying on the technician’s table, captivated by the transformative process unfolding before me. Then, I knew my calling—to extend this same transformative experience to others. Driven by this passion, I embarked on my path to becoming an electrologist just a few years later. Under the guidance of Betty Williams at the Arizona State School of Electrolysis, I honed my skills and deepened my understanding of hair removal and client care. In August 1982, I proudly graduated and earned my certification as a Certified Electrologist, laying the foundation for my own practice. For over 42 years, I have dedicated myself to the art and science of Electrolysis, earning recognition such as the prestigious Golden Probe Award for my commitment to excellence in the field. Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of enhancing the lives of countless individuals by addressing their unwanted hair concerns.
I have gained enduring friendships and cultivated a profound love for my work, feeling truly blessed in my endeavors.
My involvement in the Transgender community spans nearly as long as my career in Electrolysis. In the 80s, I served as the president of the local transgender support group, A Rose, for several years, with a small group of less than 20 members. I have cherished the opportunity to connect with and support individuals within this community. This group is now called AZTG Arizona Transgender and can be found https://www.meetup.com/arizona-transgender/events/ with over 700 members.

Vanessa Aragon
CCE CLS Certified Clinical Electrologist, Aesthetician, and CLT Certified Laser Technician
Vanessa, a native of Tucson, Arizona, relocated to Phoenix in 1998 at the age of 15. She embarked on her journey in the beauty industry by attending and graduating from Artistic Beauty College in 2002, obtaining her license as an Aesthetician in the state of Arizona.
Since then, Vanessa has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing her expertise in skincare. Vanessa has pursued numerous post-graduate courses, covering a wide spectrum from product knowledge to advanced skincare techniques.
Throughout her career, Vanessa has collaborated with esteemed brands such as Physicians Choice of Arizona, Glytone, Clayton Shagal, Avene, and Skin Medica, further enriching her knowledge and skills.
In 2005, Vanessa expanded her horizons by joining our team and undergoing training to become a Certified Clinical Electrologist. Today, she stands alongside our team of dedicated professionals, lending her expertise to combat unwanted hair effectively. With a profound passion for skincare, Vanessa prioritizes the care, protection, and enhancement of each patient’s skin. In 2014, Vanessa obtained laser certification from NALA. Her commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry standards is evident in all her achievements.
Mindy Baehr
FNP Medical Director
Melinda Baehr, FNP, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a Nurse Practitioner Specialist. Melinda began her journey with Senza Pelo in 2007 with a background deeply rooted in aesthetics nursing.
Over the years, she continued her educational pursuits and graduated with honors in 2013, embarking on a path encompassing family practice, internal medicine, geriatrics, and medical aesthetics.
With several years of diverse experiences under her belt, Melinda has returned to Senza Pelo in a new capacity as the medical director. Beyond her professional endeavors, Melinda actively engages in her family life and enjoys traveling with her loved ones.
Kiara Rayas
Junior Electrologist Cosmetologist and CLT Certified Laser Technician
Kiara Rayas grew up in Prescott, Arizona. She embarked on her journey into the beauty industry at Empire Beauty School, where she laid the foundation for her career. In January 2014, Kiara sought the ideal environment to kickstart her professional journey, and serendipity led her to Senza Pelo. Joining our team in July 2014, she quickly discovered her passion for Electrolysis and skin care. In December 2014, Kiara commenced her training as an electrologist under the expert guidance of Vanessa and Maria, and she has been an integral part of Senza Pelo. Currently serving as our Junior Electrologist, Kiara is on the path to obtaining national certification. Additionally, she is undergoing training for laser certification to enhance her skills and expertise further.
Sofya Gregorovich

Sofya Gregorovich graduated from Sally Esser Beauty School in 2005 with a Michigan state license. Sofya Graduated from ASU with a BSN in 2017.
Sofya Gregorovich, originally from Detroit, Michigan, discovered her passion for electrolysis treatments while growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, where her family established a business in 1994. Inspired by her experiences with unwanted hair, Sofya embarked on her journey into electrolysis at 14 years old. She dedicated herself to her craft, finding fulfillment in making a positive impact each day.
Following a decade with Senza Pelo, Sofya took a hiatus from her electrolysis career to focus on her family and further her education. In 2017, she achieved her goal of becoming a registered nurse BSN. We are delighted to welcome Sofya back, not only as an accomplished RN but also as a skilled electrologist.
Leanna Craft
BSN-RN, Certified Professional Electrologist, CLT Certified Laser Technician
Leanna Craft has been a dedicated member of the Senza Pelo team for nearly five years. She began her training under Zap Master Electrology and has since gained extensive experience in Electrolysis, Advanced Electrolysis, Laser Hair Removal, Collagen Rejuvenation, and Permanent Makeup.
After earning her nursing degree from Chamberlain University, Leanna expanded her skills to offer Botox, dermal fillers, and advanced laser treatments. She is currently furthering her education by pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree at Chamberlain. Passionate about helping clients feel their best, she remains committed to providing safe, effective, and personalized aesthetic treatments.

I am really proud as a healthcare professional to bring my years of experience to the Phoenix Metro area. And super excited to be joining the amazing team at Senza Pelo Med Spa.
My journey began 5 years ago with a very busy practice in Washington DC. With over 9000 treatments performed individually, I learned fast. I am excited to lend my knowledge and technique to this city and this vibrant practice, as well as accepting new patients.
With a history of, and spending most of my working life as a fine artist, art restorer, and designer, I feel it only adds to and heightens the abilities and skills now needed for the detail and dedication my “now” career demands. Ariely Aniles
Junior Electrologist
Ariely received her training under Zap Master Electrology and has been an integral part of the Senza Pelo team for nearly five years. She is a junior electrologist working towards her national certification.
Ariely struggled with PCOS, but she understands the impact it can have on self-confidence. Her journey led her to Senza Pelo, where she found effective treatment and compassionate support. This positive experience inspired her to join the team and was eager to extend the same care to others.
For Ariely, the joy of being an electrologist lies in helping others reclaim confidence in their own skin. Making clients feel comfortable and content with their appearance is the ultimate reward, making every follicle zapped worth it.
GinaRay Hayden
Junior Electrologist
Gina received her training under Zap Master Electrology and has been an integral part of the Senza Pelo team for nearly five years. She is a junior electrologist working towards her national certification. She has a passion for meeting and assisting people in any way possible, finding immense rewards in helping individuals feel better about themselves.
In 2019, Gina made the decision to move to Phoenix to pursue her dreams.
Her journey led her to Senza Pelo, where she met Maria De Nicola. Gina was deeply moved by Senza Pelo’s exceptional dedication to the LGBTQIA community, and she knew she wanted to be a part of it. Maria introduced her to the Senza family, a group of remarkable individuals who welcomed her with open arms.
Encouraged by friends to follow her heart, Gina decided to pursue a career in the field of electrology. Feeling uncertain, she sought guidance from Maria, who provided invaluable advice and support. Today, Gina is proud to be a part of the Senza Pelo team, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Jazmin Lopez
CCE CLS Certified Clinical Electrologist and CLT Certified Laser Technician
Jazmin Manjarrez-Lopez received her training under Zap Master Electrology and is a proud Certified Clinical Electrologist and Certified Laser Specialist. Her journey into the field of electrology stems from a deeply personal place.
As a child, Jazmin faced challenges with excessive hair growth. These experiences fueled her passion for helping others overcome similar insecurities and feel better about themselves. Jazmin found her true calling at SenzaPelo MedSpa. In April 2021, Jazmin tragically lost her transgender brother, which further solidified her connection to SenzaPelo’s unwavering dedication to the Trans and LGBTQ+ community.
Jazmin finds joy in her role as a mother to two wonderful children and two lively pups.
Erin Cafuir
RN and CLT Certified Laser Technician
Erin Cafuir, a caring RN since 2015, started in psych/behavioral health and is gaining vital skills. In 2022, she became a lidocaine nurse at Senza Pelo, dedicating herself to serving the LGBTQ+ community. Erin prioritizes making every client feel valued, irrespective of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Driven to expand her expertise, Erin is pursuing electrologist certification and aims to become a certified laser technician.
Erin enjoys quality time with loved ones, brunches, running, pool, reading, and live concerts outside work.
She eagerly anticipates guiding clients on transformative journeys.
Sophia Huber
RN BSN
Sophia Huber, a New Jersey native, transitioned from a 25+ year career in hospital IT and third-party health insurance to become an RN BSN.
Sophia started as a client at Senza Pelo in 2012. Based on the positive experience and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, she decided to pursue a second career in nursing. Sophia graduated from ASU in December 2021.
In addition to working as an injector at Senza Pelo, she also works in post-acute/long-term care, continuing to impact the healthcare field.
Ivy Radcliffe

Ivy Radcliffe is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience and advanced education. She has a rich background in medical-surgical nursing, specializing in diabetes care. Her career has encompassed both direct patient care and research.
Ivy is excited to be a part of the Senza Pelo team, where she applies her skills to provide comfortable and positive electrolysis treatments through expert Lidocaine injections.
Outside of work, Ivy loves reading, playing the guitar, and traveling.
Karli Black
CCE LE CLS LE Certified Clinical Electrologist, Licensed Electrolysis and Certified Laser Technician
Karli Black is a Graduate of the AIE California State License and completed a 600-hour course, and holds a California state license and is a Certified Clinical Electrologist
Karli is a member of the SCMHR and is a Certified Clinical Electrologist (CCE) and laser technician.
Passionate about Electrolysis in both theory and practice, Karli is committed to assisting individuals within and beyond her community with unwanted hair concerns. Having undergone over 16 electrolysis treatments for bottom surgery preparation, Karli empathizes with the stress of finding a supportive electrologist.
She aims to cultivate a safe and inclusive environment where clients can seek assistance from someone who understands their experiences firsthand.
Dita
Dita comes from a large family, being the youngest of 17 brothers and sisters and having 55 nieces and nephews. Before joining Senza Pelo, Dita spent 20 years working for a local gastroenterologist, where she gained extensive experience in both front and back-office duties. This included supporting doctors and patients in the front office and handling billing, insurance claims, and management in the back office. Additionally, Dita has ten years of experience as a beautician specializing in hair styling.
With her diverse background and wealth of knowledge in the medical field, Dita brings invaluable expertise to Senza Pelo, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for both clients and staff. Her long standing friendship with Maria, which has lasted over twenty years, adds a personal touch to her integration into our team.
