A comfort option within an electrolysis plan
Injectable lidocaine is a local anesthetic used to numb a treatment area. At Senza Pelo, this option is considered alongside an electrolysis plan for eligible clients; it does not replace the hair-removal treatment itself.
Tell the office about your sensitivity, the areas you want treated and any previous reactions to anesthetics. The clinical team determines whether this option is appropriate and how appointments need to be coordinated.
Arrange nursing support before your visit
Senza Pelo’s existing service information identifies a registered nurse for injectable lidocaine. Nursing availability and the electrologist’s schedule need to be coordinated in advance. Do not assume that selecting a longer electrolysis appointment includes an anesthetic assessment.
Discuss the planned area, relevant health history, medications, allergies and any topical numbing products. Your clinician will explain consent, preparation, monitoring and aftercare for your situation.
Large-volume and gender-affirming treatment planning
Clients considering gender-affirming hair removal or extended electrolysis can discuss comfort as part of the overall plan. The required area, staffing and clinical assessment affect what can be scheduled.
For surgery preparation, bring your own surgeon’s diagram and requirements. Anesthetic availability does not establish surgical clearance or guarantee that a treatment area can be completed by a certain date.
Understand the limitations and risks
Local anesthesia does not guarantee a pain-free visit or make an unlimited session appropriate. Injection-site reactions, allergy and other complications are possible. Too much local anesthetic can cause serious toxicity; only the treating clinical team should decide how it is used.
Do not combine numbing creams, injections or other anesthetic products on your own. Report any unexpected symptoms immediately and follow the clinician’s instructions. This page does not provide dosing or self-administration guidance.
Ask about fees and appointment timing
RN-administered lidocaine involves a separate fee in the existing service information. Contact the office for current pricing and availability; the published electrolysis rates do not establish the total for clinical comfort support.
Before arranging travel or an extended visit, confirm the consultation, nursing and electrolysis appointments needed. Ask who to contact if your health or medications change before the visit.
Appointment availability and current booking details are confirmed through Vagaro. Call the team if you need help selecting the right consultation.
Before your visit
Your questions, answered
Is lidocaine included in every electrolysis appointment?
No. It is an option for eligible clients that requires advance clinical planning, nursing availability and a separate fee.
Who administers the lidocaine?
The practice’s established service information identifies a registered nurse. Confirm the provider and appointment arrangements with the office.
Can I request it for gender-affirming hair removal?
Yes, you can discuss it during planning. The treatment area, health history, clinical assessment and staffing determine suitability.
Will I feel nothing during treatment?
That cannot be guaranteed. Sensation and response vary, and your provider should explain what to expect and how to communicate discomfort.
Can I use numbing cream as well?
Do not combine anesthetic products without the treating clinician’s instructions. Tell the team exactly what products and medications you use.
How much does it cost?
A separate clinical fee applies. Call the office for current pricing and scheduling before booking an extended session.
Does lidocaine change how many electrolysis visits I need?
It is a comfort measure, not a different hair-removal method. Hair growth, area and treatment response still determine the course of electrolysis.
How do I book?
